Great concept!
I was happy to find a pitching podcast. Great stuff. My opinion: keep the format and create courses/programs for your niche market. I'll keep listening!

Intriguing Content
From both a consumption and production perspective, this content is great. It exposes the VC + Founder discussion and provides a platform for founders to get exposure and tell their story to potential investors. Looking forward to participating on the pitch soon!

Better than Shark Tank!
The Pitch is like Shark Tank, but with real companies that entrepreneurs can learn from. The pitch to investors has been a mystery for so long, and this show helps demystify it — in a great format.

Great concept
The premise of this show is interesting - a real-life experience. I like the production audio for the host and bumpers. After listening to a number of episodes, the maturity of this show continues to improve in structure and audio - well done.

Awesome show!
Love the podcast. It's fun to hear about all of these different early-stage businesses, and particularly to hear investors' reactions to them.

Great show. Highly addictive
Love the show. Quickly becoming one of my favorite podcasts.
My only comment is stick to for profits. Being someone who works in non-profit evaluation, your episode on new story left a lot to be desired. Overhead evaluation, impact metrics, and partnership model just to name a few. Keep up the great work.

Fun and informative
Great podcast to see how investors think and evaluate businesses. It's quite informative to listen to the different styles that entrepreneurs pitch their product/vision.

An absolute must for my podcast feed!
I am a big fan of high quality podcasts and this one definitely is in my top 5. Amazingly informative, great charismatic smart hosts, the best 20 minutes of my day. Great for anyone who loves startups!

Genius idea
Love this concept of 'Pitching' idea's to investors, without all the drama of the TV show Shark Tank!
Also, Josh Muccio does an excellent job hosting the program.

Very Excited
This podcast is great! It's entertaining and informative, it perfectly captures the entertaining side of startups, and gives the listener the perspective of an investor (which undoubtably drives many listeners to BE investors). I have no complaints about this show, but would like to give some improvement ideas:
-larger group of in house investors. A conference call type situation would be great.
-not sure if this is happening or not, but guest key investors every episode outside of that one dude.
-more professional soundboard. Although I enjoy the subconscious feeling of a stereotypical noise to emphasize the yes or no.
-better provided contact info for the startups
-background music is always nice, and keeps it feeling fresh and interesting
But Ya, love the podcast and keeeep making episodes please.

Excellent resource
This is a must listen resource for entrepreneurs and investors alike. It provides honest, real-world insight into what makes a pitch great, and what investors are really looking for. Great concept, well executed. Looking forward to the next episode!

Very insightful
I have a degree in Finance, but I never learned much about pitching to VCs. It's helpful to hear examples of real pitches and the questions that investors are seeking to answer. I also appreciate the 20-minute show format as many other podcasts are far too long. I would recommend announcing the URL of the company who pitched at the end of each show so that it's easy for me to learn more about them if I'm interested. I know that it's in the show notes, but it isn't hyperlinked in Overcast. Moreover, I often listen to podcasts while driving and can't navigate through the show notes before the episode ends, but I can remember a URL if I hear it.
Also, I agree with some of the other reviews that you should get rid of the sound effects and lose the game show angle. It cheapens your excellent content.

What to love?
- The stories. Hearing from founders in the trenches is incredibly motivating.
- The investors. Thoughts from investors, how they view problems, what they want… it’s great insight.
- The hosts. Great questions. Great flow. Great sound.
- The time. It’s a quick listen. I love quick listens.
What to improve?
- Continue improving audio quality among guests
