$1.5M Pre-Seed Investment Round for Dressd

As featured in episode 104, Capri is building a peer-to-peer clothing rental marketplace that's more efficient than Rent The Runway. To create early liquidity on the platform, they're focused on reaching product market fit with their first customer segment: sorority girls.

There are two ways for accredited investors to invest in Dressd. One is by investing in The Pitch Fund, where you'll get a small amount of ownership in Capri's company as part of a larger portfolio of early-stage private companies we invest in. The other is through a direct investment in Dressd via The Pitch Syndicate.

We have $100k in allocation reserved specifically for listeners of The Pitch. If you are interested in investing in Dressd, fill out this form and we will contact you with more details as soon as the deal is live.

How can you help?

Capri is looking for:
  • Successful founders who have built in consumer, ecomm, marketplaces, p2p selling, resale, sustainable fashion tech, or fashion tech
  • People who've built a viral referral engine into their product or helped scale a marketplace
  • Those in the fashion industry, the festival industry, the cosplay industry, or event management who can help with strategic partnerships
  • People who have successfully scaled a company without any ad spend
  • Intros to faculty members - especially activities directors - at U.S. high schools. They are launching a program to give back to high schools when students rent prom dresses.
  • As they expand their sorority program across the country they would welcome intros to people in sororities.
