Dotcal's $1M Seed Round

As featured in episode 106, Dotcal is building a more human way to schedule meetings.

There are two ways for accredited investors to invest in David Matthews' seed-stage startup. One is by investing in The Pitch Fund, where you'll get a small amount of ownership in Dotcal as part of a larger portfolio of early-stage private companies we invest in. The other is through a direct investment in Dotcal via The Pitch Syndicate.

We have $100k in allocation reserved specifically for listeners of The Pitch. If you are interested in investing you can view the deal terms and invest here.

How you can help

  • Our #1 ask is to share Dotcal with those who could use it and/or invite others to your Dotcal network to kick off network effects -- the best types of businesses are those with lots of outside scheduling. Think law firms/agencies/VCs who schedule with clients or portfolio companies a lot.
  • Shout out on social media -- we want to angle ourselves more as a scheduling network and less as a place to make pretty booking pages (though we'll always be good at that too)
  • Intros to VCs who specialize in network effect startups and/or B2B

Disclaimer: investing in startups involves significant risk. 90% of these early-stage startups will ultimately fail. Only invest what you are willing to lose. You are responsible for doing your own due-diligence to determine if this investment opportunity is right for you. Please consult your financial advisor before making any investment decisions.
